History 

I was waiting for life to finally happen.

I was waiting to study and realize my dreams of

becoming a medical doctor. I had 3 years of time

on my hands, though I didn't know at the time.

Luckily, I couldn't stay idle for long.

I love creative and fine arts and have designed

outfits ever since I can remember.My grandma

 is a creative mind with entrepreneurial skills.

She’s the one I go to for ideas, amongst other

 things. I left her house one day with Lola’s phone

number. Lola made bead bags and beaded jewelry.

She taught me how to make the bags, but

I was more interested in the jewelry.

I started beading in 2005.

I made unique and beautiful beaded earrings,

bracelets, necklaces and a few beaded bags and

purses. I eventually started selling pieces to family

members and friends. I often happily discussed design

with them and made a number of personalized items.

When life finally happened, I had to move countries;

Minx as a hobby had to be suspended.

During this period, I discovered wire-wrapping

and fell in love with it immediately.

Oh, the endless possibilities!

With the help of several books and a couple of years

of practice, I was ready to create wearable art.
